Speaking your language
People from the financial sector develop their own language. Although you may be fully conversant with insurance terms, investment managers speak a different vocabulary. Whilst you might not make immediate sense of basis points, convexity, barbells, and credit swaps, an investment manager may be equally baffled by insurance terminology. |
