Sales and Marketing



Sean Thompson - Head of Sales
	Sean has over 22 years experience working in London's financial services sector and the insurance market. He originally joined Meridian in 2002 before leaving in 2006 to work for AllianceBernstein as the Client Relationship Manager for their UK/Bermuda insurance business. He has also previously held positions at City Capital Counselling UK, an Atlanta based investment firm and The Merrett Group, a Lloyd's managing agency. In his position as Head of Sales, Sean will be responsible for developing Meridian's sales strategy and will be in charge of business growth covering all products and services.


Client Support



Marie Hinchin - Client Support Manager
	Marie joined Meridian in November 2008. She is responsible for providing client support to all our IRAS users and is also responsible for the project management of any programming, upgrades or improvement initiatives that are undertaken in IRAS and MIPS. Marie also assists with the day-to-day running of the IT department where she is jointly responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our computer systems. Marie has over 12 years experience in IT working in London and Australia. Prior to joining Meridian Marie worked for Barclays Global Investors.


David Osborne - Partner
	David was the founding partner of Meridian Computer Services in November 1984. Before turning to software writing he had spent 20 years as an investment manager with a number of City institutions, and started work in the Lloyd's market as a fund manager to a major managing agency in 1977. David is now mainly responsible for sales, administering the business, and training the team in the ways of insurance and investments.


Alan Coleman - Investment Accountant
	Alan joined Meridian in June 2000 to help with the investment accounting work we had recently taken on. He has worked in the Lloyd's market for 28 years, for a variety of managing agents. During this time he has been involved with agency and syndicate accounting functions, later moving into a treasury manager's position, a role which included using IRAS for many years before coming to work for us. Alan is also an expert on the taxation of Lloyd's investments, and will be helping us to extend the coverage of IRAS in that direction.


Software Developers



George Weaving - Programming Manager
	George joined Meridian Performance Services Ltd. in 1999. He is responsible for managing the support of the current version of IRAS. He has a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.


Chris Bishop - Software Developer
	Chris joined Meridian in November 2006 to support the IRAS development team. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering and has previously worked in developing and supporting front office banking systems.


Vahid Mesri - Software Developer
	Vahid joined Meridian in December 2007 as a member of the IRAS development team. He has previously worked as a programmer for other software developers, and has a BSc in Software Engineering and an MSc in Machine Learning & Data Mining.


Maktuba Mohid - Software Developer
	Maktuba joined Meridian in June 2008 to work on the new IRAS project and become part of the development team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering and has previously worked as software developer for many other companies in private sector.
